Made Renovation

Made Renovation was a Series A home renovation marketplace that offered bathroom design, material procurement and General Contractor matching for homeowners.

  • Identify opportunities to move from a D2C model featuring an expensive sales motion and cumbersome business model that required account managers and material procurement, to a self-service technology platform with less operational burden and overhead costs.

    • Conducted customer and general contractor surveys and interviews to learn that homeowners and contractors collectively spent over 40 hours designing, ordering and tracking materials for a bathroom renovation.

    • Influenced development of the 3D Design Studio, a bathroom design tool that would democratize bathroom design, and automate material quantity calculations, ordering and tracking.

    • Owned brand development, positioning, content and GTM to launch Hatch Renovation, a sub-brand that enabled us to offer the Design Studio as a white label product for General Contractors to sell bathroom renovations in a B2B2C model

    • Simultaneously led positioning, copy writing and content development for a bespoke version of the Design Studio to pitch to The Home Depot

    • The Home Depot licensed The Design Studio as part of a high 7-figure deal

    • Increased bathroom sales 3X MoM through launching a B2B2C distribution model
